In 1979, Poomkudy brothers John & Zacharias started business in distribution of auto components. Today Poomkudy Group has evolved as one of India's leading and reputed enterprises in the automotive industry.
Setting new horizons in this visionary enterprise, Poomkudy Group’s foray into auto components manufacturing and branding, realties and community lifestyles, are among the ambitious plans for diversified growth in business. In 2022 ,Poomkudy Group ventured into Kids apparel business launching its premium range of clothing for Kids.
The group comprises of 5 core business verticals represented through a network of 25 offices across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra &Telangana and a resource strength of over 350 experienced and committed employees.

About Founder , Chairman & MD
Mr. Zacharias Poomkudy, a Chartered Accountant by qualification, is the Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of the Poomkudy group of companies leading the business for the past 45 years. He is the president of the ‘Ernakulam Auto Parts Dealers Association’ for the past 33 years(1991). He was also the President of ‘Federation of Automobile Spare Parts Dealers’ in Kerala from 1994-1998 and Vice chairman of IACC (Indo American chamber of Commerce) the first Honorary Secretary of the Kerala Automobile Dealers Association (KADA) in which all major Vehicle Dealers in Kerala are members. He is also an active member of FADA (Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations of India) and KCCI (Kerala Chamber of Commerce and Industry)
Mrs. Anitha Zacharias Poomkudy Director, is a graduate in Mathematics providing relentless support in business for the group. She is very actively involved in the Poomkudy Foundation.
Mr. Roshan Zacharias Poomkudy Director has joined since 2011 after successfully completing his MBA & Mechanical Engineering degree.
